Angelina Victoria Angulo (born February 14, 2002) is a twenty one year old singer, actress, and model from Chicago, IL.
Angelina booked her very first print job at the age of 4 years old for Leo's Dancewear. At that time it was clear she had a love for modeling and the camera. She went on to audition for the top talent agents in Chicago and was signed by Lily's Talent, BMG Models, DeSanti Talent, and Paige Models and Talent. She booked her very first National Commercial for WalMart at 6 years old. She has credits in several films, commercials, industrial videos, voiceovers and an Opera. She has done countless photo shoots for Kohl's, American Girl, Carson's, Shopko, and many more. She has walked the runway in numerous fashion shows and has won 3 beauty pageants. In additon to modeling, Angelina has cheered for the Chicago Junior Luvabull at their pregame and half-time shows.
Angelina actively works on her acting and performance skills. She won a full scholarship to attend the Broadway Collective Gathered Musical Theatre Program in New York City and she was also selected to attend the Joffrey Ballet's Musical Theatre Intensive. She attended Grammy Camp, Roosevelt University's Pre-College Broadway Break Thru Program and DePaul University's Paso Al Futuro Pre-College Journalism Program. She worked as a student filmmaker and actress for Dreaming Tree Films on the film: Alternate Universe: A Rescue Mission. Angelina attended Columbia College Summer Arts Program focusing on Performing Arts, Media Arts, Visual Arts and was able to work with a small group of students to write, direct, edit and produce a short film. She has also studied Acting/Improvisation/On-Camera at: Piven Theatre, The Second City Training Center, Acting Studio Chicago, The Green Room, and Marnie Cooper School of Acting.
Although Angelina loves modeling and acting, her passion is singing. She has taken vocal lessons since the age of 6. She is a Mezzo-Soprano and sings Musical Theatre, Italian and French Opera, Classical, Pop and Regional Mexican and Japanese Music.
In 2018, Angelina received an Inspiration Award from the American Heart Association for being an inspiration and role model to the Latino community. In 2014, Angelina received an award from former Governor, Pat Quinn, for Outstanding Community Service.
Angelina's hobbies include singing, dancing, drawing, softball, running marathons. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
Angelina graduated from the Chicago High School for the Arts where she was 1 of 18 students accepted into their class of 2020 Musical Theatre Program. She is currently attending a 4 year University where she received a full academic scholarship to study vocal performance and music business, she tours with her group, and is a social media influencer.
